Your smile is our passion.
Small town feel with advanced, high-quality care.
Paschen Orthodontics has been a part of the Baraboo community since its founding in 2000 by Dr. Mark D. Paschen. Continuing in that legacy now is Dr. Dani Meirick-Imerman, who was mentored by Dr. Paschen since joining the practice in 2020.
Paschen Orthodontics is proudly partnered with Dental Associates of Baraboo, which was founded in 1960. Both Paschen Orthodontics and Dental Associates of Baraboo are locally-owned with a rich legacy of patient-first, family-focused care. Our team is dedicated to providing you with a personalized experience and a smile you'll love.
Early Orthodontic Treatment
We can prevent small issues from becoming bigger problems when we work with a child during their younger years. Orthodontic care as early as age 4 can help guide a child's natural growth toward optimal development. Our goal is to improve the coordination of that development between the teeth, jaws, and surrounding muscles while making room for permanent teeth. Optimal development often results in less need for invasive treatment in the future.
Braces
With options for traditional or ceramic braces, you or your child can finally have the beautiful smile you've been wanting. Aside from the beautiful results, a well-aligned bite also has lifetime effects. Evenly spaced teeth are easier to care for, reducing the risk of cavities. A functional, aligned bite also reduces the risk of uneven wear on your teeth as you age.
Comprehensive orthodontic care with an experienced team.
From early orthodontic treatment to clear aligner therapy for older adults, we have been helping patients sleep better, smile brighter, and prevent bigger dental issues for three generations. Our approach is to evaluate each patient's overall health history to look for issues such as sleep-disordered breathing, chronic head, neck, and jaw pain, and other issues as a result of a misaligned bite.
A friendly, family-focused orthodontic team invested in you.
Our mission is to help our patients prevent future issues, resolve current alignment problems, and feel at home every time they walk into our office. Every treatment plan is unique, because every person is different. We will help you meet your goals by taking the time to get to know you and listening.
Early Intervention
Early Intervention
We provide early or interceptive orthodontic care for children as young as 4 to set them up for healthy growth and development of their jaw, face, teeth, and the supportive tissues and muscles.
Braces
Braces
If part of your treatment plan includes braces, we have a couple of options for you. We offer traditional metal braces and ceramic braces, which are more discreet. We also support you throughout your treatment plan to ensure you have the best experience possible.
Invisalign
Invisalign
Invisalign clear aligners is a progressive tray system that gradually aligns your smile. The best part is you can take them out for meals!
Palatal Expanders
Palatal Expanders
Some kiddos need a little help during development to create more space in their mouth for incoming teeth. Expanding their palate can set them up for more ideal development and prevent larger issues later.
Space Maintainers
Space Maintainers
If your little one lost a tooth prematurely or needs to have a tooth extracted, a space maintainer can keep their smile open so their other teeth don't shift into the spot where that tooth used to be.
Custom Mouth Guards
Custom Mouth Guards
A mouth guard can save your smile! It will protect your teeth during activities and protect the soft tissues inside your mouth. This is especially important for those undergoing orthodontic care.
We love to hear from our patients!
Meet the Dentist
Dr. Dani Meirick-Imerman graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2016. She has dedicated hundreds of hours to continuing education with an emphasis on orthodontic care. These courses include training in dentofacial orthopedics, early orthodontic treatment, and Invisalign certification. She's a board member for the American Orthodontic Society, a member of the American Dental Association, and participates locally in the Sauk-Juneau-Adams Dental Society.
She chose dentistry because of her own great experiences as a child. She had severe dental crowding which led to a lot of dental visits and eventually orthodontic treatment. She still remembers feeling proud of herself and her smile once her orthodontic treatment was completed. She hopes to help her patients feel that as well!
Dr. Dani is married to Dr. Reid Imerman, a dentist at Dental Associates of Baraboo. They have two young children. Becoming a mom has enhanced her experience with early dental care and has given her new perspective on oral health development. This helps her relate better to families and set little ones up for dental success!
